Sculptra® works by inducing low-level inflammation in the deeper layers of the skin, which in turn encourages the production of new collagen. The main component, poly-L-lactic acid, is a biocompatible substance that actively stimulates collagen synthesis, ensuring long-lasting results.

After treatment, avoid vigorous exercise, heavy lifting, and sun/UV exposure for 24-48 hours. Refrain from scheduling harsh skin treatments such as chemical peels, micro-needling, or light and laser therapies for 2-3 weeks.

The results of Sculptra injections can last up to 3 years, but individual factors such as skin aging, genetic predisposition and lifestyle can affect the duration of results.
